Additional terms – Membership

The following outlines the terms and conditions of Diabetes Qualified membership.


General terms

  1. When using the Diabetes Qualified website (‘Website’), you agree to accept and comply with the Website Terms & Conditions for Use (‘General Terms’), which can be found here.
  2. Diabetes Qualified takes your privacy seriously and any information we collect from you is subject to Diabetes Qualified’s Privacy Policy (‘Privacy Policy’), which can be found here.


Membership fees

Upon receipt of the membership fee, you are registered as a Diabetes Qualified Member (‘Member’).  Membership fees are payable annually (financial year, July to June). No concession rebate is available.

Pricing for July to December memberships is valid until the current end of financial year. Pricing for January to June memberships include the following financial year.



All payments made to purchase membership are made using Eway. In using the Website, or when making any payment for membership, you warrant that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Eway terms and conditions which are available on their website.

All credit card transactions will be undertaken with best practice security. The Diabetes Qualified website does not capture or store credit card information.



Currency listed on the Diabetes Qualified Australia website and currency of transaction is in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.


Refund policy

Diabetes Qualified Membership is a non-refundable fee. Should you believe that your circumstances for a refund requires special consideration, please make an application in writing to the Membership Manager via email to email@cpdq.whitehat-staging.com.au or contact the Diabetes Qualified Helpline on 1300 727 194 between 8:30am – 5:00pm (AEST).


Cancellation of membership

A Member may cancel their membership at any time by providing either verbal or written notification to Diabetes Qualified, provided both the person making the request and the membership concerned can be positively verified.


Changing membership details

Only the named Member or person authorised in writing by the named Member may request a change in membership details.


Membership verification

All Members are issued with a unique membership number. In circumstances where you are unable to remember your membership number, please contact the Diabetes Qualified Helpline on 1300 727 194.


Voting rights

Diabetes Qualified Members do not have the right to vote in Board Elections and at the Annual General meeting of Diabetes NSW & ACT.


Personal information use and disclosure
